My name is Jen MacArthur, but my friends know me as Jen Mac. I have been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. I have a wide variety of training in many different areas of exercise, and fitness. I have been involved in organizing team sports, coaching, teaching physical education, and am a certified personal trainer through ACE Fitness. The latest training is in weight loss consulting, program development and boot camp instruction.
I believe and operate under the O.N.E philosophy which stands for Oneself, Nutrition and Exercise. Over the past year I have developed a program that incorporates all of these components. Oneself is about getting the mind ready for change, overcoming obstacles and pushing through fear. In the area of Nutrition we offer clinics for basic information and workshops where you get hands on experience with food. And Exercise in the form of boot camp class, where my clients call it "a group workout with a personal training touch", we also do very unique style of personal training where we are all focused on results.
I have designed a program that will meet any client at the beginning and carry them through the entire process with a team of experts from start to well on their way to Ultimate Health.
If one of these components is not being practiced the entire weight loss progress is slowed down. All three areas must be in place in order to be successful in your journey.
I grew up in an environment where success was not available to me. I struggled with self esteem and self worth. I had the "victim" mentality. It took me eight long years of learning, changing, growing, and understanding myself and pulling myself out of old habits and into new ways of thinking and I continue to grow and change everyday.
I have won against my earlier surroundings and am no longer a victim, but a strong, compassionate, understanding business woman.
